We nurture future leaders in technology by allowing students to explore the path of mobile app development. The MIT App Inventor Platform allows students to create fully functional mobile apps.

  • With an intuitive, visual drag-and-drop programming, our App Inventor curriculum guides students to apply computational thinking and creativity to design their own apps and put them to test immediately on their phones. They can build simple fun apps such as Countdown Timer, Racing Game, Robot Shooter Game and more!

  • Hear about it firsthand from our students who got to present their apps and placed 2nd at the MIT App Inventor Summit (USA).

  • App Inventor 1’s goal is to introduce mobile app programming, instill confidence and an adventurous spirit for students to continue exploring to become little app creators.   • Unable to find a schedule that fits? Check out P205 - Python Junior. In our Ages 10-12 roadmap, students may start from P201 - App Inventor 1 or P205 - Python Junior 1.

Utilising the accelerometer (a tiny electronic chip integrated on almost all modern mobile phones to measure acceleration), Rylan programmed a game that is played by tilting the mobile device to control a car to “attack” pollution. This game is inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Goals.

Inspired by Pokemon Go, Isabel created Appemon, which is a simplified version of the 2016 blockbuster game!

Taking actions for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Hannah created a mobile game “Water Catcher” to promote the message of avoiding wasting water, to contribute to Goal 6 on Clean Water and Sanitation

Our curriculum are developed with our students learning in mind. Each course has pre-requisites - not because we want to keep it exclusive but because we want to maximise our students learning.

We also have parents in mind when we designed our course logistics - we take care of all the materials and equipment needed so that busy parents can take a breather

Recognising that each student has different learning preference, we have designed our courses to be taught in different modalities and formats - from weekly classes to full day holiday camps. Choose the mode and format which best suits your child’s busy scheduling and learning preference.

Mode (Options)

  • Conducted on a weekly basis, once a week, on a fixed day and timing.

  • Conducted during the school holidays of both Singapore and International schools, holiday camps provides students with meaningful use of their time during the holidays.

    • 5 lessons, 2 hours per lesson (10 hours total)

    • Available in both weekly or holiday camp mode

    • P201 & P202: App Inventor 1 & 2 (Accelerated)

    • 5 sessions, 3.5 hours per session

    • 3-day, full day camp | 7 hrs per day | 21 hours total
